Eurotech has drawn up its environmental policy and translated it into concrete management objectives pursued on a daily basis. All Eurotech companies utilize NEN ISO 14001 certified environmental management systems or have included this in their objectives. Also DIN EN ISO 50001 is recently implemented in one of our facility. Independent third parties regularly review these systems. One of the objectives is to further reduce the use of energy, water and other raw materials. Eurotech actively invests in more efficient equipment to further reduce energy consumption.
All Eurotech production facilities reuse materials and thereby contribute to the effective use of resources and reduce the impact on the environment.
Reusable molding sand
The foundry sand used by Eurotech is cooled, cleansed and mixed for re-use. Furan sand for hand molds is reclaimed so that most of it can be re-used. The remainder is used as raw material for the production of concrete.
Aluminium is a special kind of metal. It is strong, light, durable, corrosion resistance and an excellent electricity conductor. Aluminium is abundantly present in the earth's crust and can be re-used infinitely, without loss of quality.
The safety and health of our employees have the highest priority. It is regulated in health and safety management systems. On top of that, Eurotech continues to encourage and educate employees to work safely and to be alert to their health. Supervising interns and learning on-the-job is part of our human resources policy. Eurotech actively invests in measures, such as advanced extractors, to optimize the working conditions of employees.
