Eurotech continues building its organisation

22 December 2015

Eurotech continues building its organisation. The green light to extend the Eurotech Třešť handforming foundry was recently given. In addition to the extensive machining skills, Eurotech is becoming more and more specialised in large size aluminium hand-moulded sand casting. Currently, new projects are being initiated for various customers.

Eurotech Schwäbisch Gmünd is investing in the further automation of the production process. A short while ago an installation for the automatic insertion of sand cores was taken into use as were a number of new ovens to increase flexibility in the preparation of liquid aluminium.

Eurotech Venlo is further extending its knowledge in the field of low-pressure sand casting. The mechanical properties of these aluminium sand castings have proven to be quite impressive and the trend continues. The elongation and tensile strength of the products is at a very high level. Certain customers are very appreciative of this and opt, together with Eurotech, for the Ductalucast low-pressure process. In order to analyse the measurement data more easily, Eurotech invested in a new, digital, tensile strength tester.

The Eurotech Group can, therefore, look back on a year of many developments. We say a well-meant thank you to all our customers and partners for their collaboration in the past year. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration for next year and wish you a prosperous 2016 and a great Festive Season.
